Preparation for Delivery / Site Handling / Hoisting / Locating
Prior to dellivery of the Pod:
A final check is made with the Client's represenative that everything is 100% acceptable.
The Pod is 'signed off' for delivery.
Wrapped in polythene to protect against the elements.
Placed on its delivery frame. (subject to review)
Lifed onto the back of the truck.
Transported to site.
Lifted from the truck using the truck hoist.
Options:
Lifted by tower crane to the designated floor landing platform.
Lifted to the material hoist and transported to the designated floor.
Lifted by the Mei Cheong Pod Hoist(s) to the designated floor.
From the landing platform the Pod is maneuvered into the room and to corride area. From there it is pushed/pulled (using the wheels of the delivery frame) to the designated room and then the delivery frame is removed. This method of movement is currently being improved
